MARGARET STARK

Margaret Stark is a law enforcement grant specialist for ITT Night Vision.  With over 15 years experience in grant writing, Margaret’s credits include those of Senior Certified Grant Specialist, Certified Grant Reviewer, and Certified Grant Consultant.

Since joining ITT’s night vision team in 1999, Margaret has assisted over 8,500 law enforcement agencies in obtaining grant-related information.  Whether working via face-to-face meetings, telephone conversations, or email correspondence, Margaret helps law enforcement agencies to identify available grant monies, then provides step-by-step direction as to how agencies may secure the needed funding. She also teaches grant writing classes in venues such as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) annual conference, the American Society for Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET) annual conference, Virginia Chief’s Association, The Performance Institute,  and the Sigarms Academy as well as various other academies and law enforcement facilities across the U.S. 

Prior to joining ITT, Margaret served for four years as a grant writer for the Pulaski City Police Department in southwest Virginia. She has an additional seven years experience in writing grants and fund raising for non-profits as well.

While the majority of grants are not specifically for equipment, night vision equipment could be used to accomplish the ultimate goals of the grant program.
